3. Name of the register
Customer database of the Webshop of MyJemma Oy Ltd.
4. Purpose of register
The purpose of the register is to maintain the customer information of MyJemma Webshop clients and to handle and archive customers’ orders. All personal data will be processed to the extent permitted by the Personal Data Act. MyJemma Oy Ltd. may also use partners for the maintenance of customer relationships. Due to technical reasons, some of the registration data can be transferred to the server of a partner.
Data of the register is used for:
- customer relationship management and maintenance;
- implementation of the service;
- certification of customer transactions;
- development of customer service and business operations;
- marketing;
- business analytics and statistics.
5. Register data
The register may contain the following information:
- customer personal information, such as name, address, language, age, or telephone number;
- business customer information such as company name, address, VAT number, contact person’s name, email address, or phone number;
- information on the customer relationship, including billing information, product information, order information, customer testimonials, competitive lotteries, and response data as well as cancellation information;
- licensing information and restrictions, such as direct marketing permissions and prohibitions;
- personal identification number for services requiring a high level of security.
6. Regular data sources
Personal information is collected during registration and when contacting the MyJemma Webshop. Direct marketing and email marketing authorisations are stored separately.
In addition, information is collected on a routine basis using the following sources and means:
- registered customer by telephone, return card, Internet, e-mail or any other similar manner;
- cookies or similar technologies;
- register maintained by the Data & Marketing Association of Finland;
- data systems of Population Register Centre and Posti Oy, telephone operators’ repositories and other similar private and public records.
7. Disclosing Data
MyJemma Oy Ltd. may disclose information to the extent that is allowed and required by the existing legislation. Information may be disclosed to selected partners of MyJemma Oy Ltd. for marketing purposes, if the customer has accepted this. These selected partners are not allowed to disclose the information to other parties.
8. The data transmission outside EU or EEA
Information can be transferred outside the EU or the EEA in accordance with the Personal Data Act.
9. Principles for protecting the register
The database is kept only electronically. The information in the register is protected by firewalls, passwords, and other technical means.
Only pre-determined employees of MyJemma Oy Ltd. have access to the database with their personal username and password. The employees are bound by a confidentiality obligation.
